The city [West Burlington] continues to pump sewage from manholes into the street whenever a moderate amount of rain falls. Here they pump sewage from a manhole in front of the bank on Mt. Pleasant Street and Broadway. When it rains they have to pump sewage into the street otherwise businesses on Broadway are flooded with sewer water.

When will city politicians realize pumping sewage into the street is NOT normal? How long will it take before they conclude there is something wrong with their sewer system?

Come on guys, it’s time to fix it!
