The Burlington Tea Party patriots are having a rally at the Dankwardt Park shelter house, off Madison Avenue, at 10AM Saturday.

Music, speeches, Michael Ernst portraying John Adams. Fun and a good cause.

The Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division improperly spent tens of thousands of dollars on artwork, leather chairs, bicycles, a camper, high-definition televisions and other products during the past four years, according to state auditors. The agency also spent millions to renovate its offices without going through the proper bidding process.
